Online Credit Card Applications Canada Only
Costco opened a credit card without my permission and then made a charge to it. What I can do?
My wife and I signed a membership Costco for about a year and at any time during the application process is what allows a credit card. It opened an account without my wife knowing. Now a year later, made a charge on it (probably a member). We contacted the company and have no CC information (not even our number phone or date of birth) on the file and do not apply. They actually have a name and address of your account number (all publicly available on line) This should be illegal? I live in Ontario, Canada. What can / should do? Thanks
